way cool God story

o.k., this is kinda random, but i thought i'd share it with you all! as some of you probably know, i really like the band barlow girl. they just came out with their 3rd CD, "how can we be silent" on july 24th. i had preorder it on a website, and still hadn't gotten it in the mail. now usually, they send it to you the day it comes out, but it had been about 2 weeks and i still hadn't gotten it, so i was getting kinda frustrated. yesterday morning, i was praying, basically, "God, i really want this CD, and i think it's going to be really good, so if you could somehow get it to me, that would be awesome." (yea i know that sounds selfish...) so, the when the mail came, i was even more frustrated and disappointed, because the CD didn't come in it! about an hour after the mail came, our doorbell rings. there was a lady there from a school down the street from us, and she had a package for us. she said that somehow, it had gotten mixed up in their boxes and packages and so she had just come to give it to us! (that was really nice of her, and i was really thankful she did that!!) and guess what it was, yup, the CD!! i was really excited!! i think it goes to show that God doesn't always do things according to our plan, He has His own thing, and we just have to totally trust Him, and trust that He knows what's best for us!! so, that's my story for today, my God is awesome! :)
