happy valetine's day to everyone out there!! :) hope you all had a great day! even if you didn't have a significant other sending you flowers (i didn't...but i did have an awesome mom leaving hearts in my lunch! thanks mom! :]), i hope you had an awesome day and remembered that God's love is so much better than any humans!! even if you don't get flowers or chocolate, you already have been given something so much better--God's love through Jesus!! God gave us the best valentine's day gift ever and showed His amazing love for us through sending Jesus die-showing us His love in the most spectacular way! and all He wants is our hearts and lives and love Him back! :) may you realize more deeply God's deep, deep love for you this valentine's day! :)

happy last day of january '08!

i cannot believe that we're already at the end of the first month of 2008!! january seemed so short and yet so long!! it seemed like it passed really quickly, but it also seems like forever since Christmas break!! it seems like so much has happened since Christmas break, even though it hasn't been too much, just school and exams (which i think i blew up in my head to be bigger than they actually are). anyways, i hope you all had a great start to 2008, listen to what God was saying to you, and have a great february!! don't forget to stand for what you believe in, no matter what, not be ashamed of Christ, and always look to God for everything, because He is everything we could ever want or need (i'm learning that more and more every single day! maybe more about that later...)!!

i heart camp!!

wow....deep freeze was awesome this year!! i'll write a lot more later, and definitely post pictures on my photoblog (i loved having my camera!!)....so, yup it was so awesome!! let's be a generation who'll stand up for the truth!!! YEAY FOR CAMP (and joel and attaboy...)!!!!! :D

my Christmas totally rocked the house!! how 'bout all of y'alls? we went to visit my dad's family all the way in ny (btw, i love new york! :])...yay for 7 hours sitting in the car.... :P it was so much fun, and totally worth the ride! :) we drove all Christmas day, and got there around 5, just in time for a lovely turkey dinner! it was really awesome to see my cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents again! the last time we saw our cousins was probably...oh...two springs ago, maybe more, so it's been a while. it was pretty cool to see how everyone changed so much! at various times during our trip, we saw all 4 of the families who are in new york, and also cousins from texas and ohio! :) it was so much fun! the day after Christmas (wednesday), we hung out at our cousin's house (the one we were staying at) all day. it was nice just to chill and have fun. we went for our 1 3/4 mile jog/walk thing, and play scene it! :) on thursday, we hung out at the church all day with 3 ny fams, the oh fam, and the tx fam came between lunch and dinner. it was lots of fun playing soccer, hockey, ultimate dodge ball, sardines, and all-church tag! you definitely get a workout when you're with cousins (especially dad's side! :D). friday, everyone was there and we went to ha (on the way there, we saw silos, whales and elephants :]) and played dodge ball, soccer and this kickball-ish game at the gym, had lunch there and took a ride on a bus (complete with gates and tickets! :D). we went roller skating (not blading, totally different), and that was a blast! sososososo much fun! :D i love my family so much! my knees are now sufficiently bruised, but it was totally worth it! it was only my 2nd time roller blading/skating, and it was a lot of fun! :) the guys there had a bunch of fun games, and they actually played contemporary Christian music for us! after, we took the bus back to ha, played more dodge ball, had dinner, and watched "monsters, inc." in the auditorium. at the moment, i was pretty sore, and have bruises all over (including, but not limited to, my knee, hip and arm), but it feels so good to have gotten some really good, hard exercise! on saturday, we hung out for the morning and grandma and grandpa and the tx fam came over for a little bit. we left at 12:30 for our drive home. :( it took us 10 hours to get home. it was ridiculous. we stopped something like 6 times, really different from our 1 stop on the way there. oh well, we're home safe and sound, thanks for all your prayers! we had a wonderful time, and i really miss my cousins now! :( it was great to see them, though, and i can't wait for the next time we're going to get together again! :) hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and happy new year to everyone if i don't get to it later! :D

Christ came down to be like us, sinful humans, even though He was God, just because He loved us enough. that's seriously amazing love. and then He died for us, talk about crazy amazing love! just so we could be with Him forever! that's just...wow...don't forget this amazing love among the other material gifts this Christmas season!

SNOW!

radio lady

o.k., really random story, but oh well. last night ashlee and i were listening to our rockin' stereo, and the lady was talking about the weather. she said something like this.
"some people have snow, some have sleet, and some have rain.....*pause*.....yes it is spring.......*pause*........and, yes it is new england!" then i said "HA!!!" (really loudly) and she said "i heard that!" ashlee and i started cracking up!! it was so funny!! the radio lady had powers!! lol!! so that's my funny story for today!

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!

I THOUGHT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SPRING!!!!!! it's snowing right now... :P it's not supposed to be snowing, it's supposed to be a beautiful sunny day!! ashlee and i just went to deliver our newspapers. it was pretty cool to walk through the snow, but at the end, i got kind of cold. the snow is a couple months late, but oh well, i guess. and, get this, we have soccer practice tomorrow!! yeay! hopefully all the snow is gone by tomorrow night!

cold weather...zero degrees...wind chill -10...wind speed 28 mph...very, very, verrrrry cccccold....shoot i have to go deliver in this weather :P.....bbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....it's cold here.....have fun all of you in the south, think of us while your swimming......pray for us too.....that we'd survive.....this crazy new england weather..........brrrrr....................

o.k., kevin got the movie of a jump i did from sunday onto youtube. here it is. it really hurt when i landed!!

sledding...again

today we went sledding again with some of our friends from 'school'. ;D it was fun. i only went down twice because i am sore from sunday!! the first time i went down with sophie on a hard sled and it really really really hurt!! there was a ditch right before the jump and we hit it hard. somehow i hurt my wrist and my back!! after that, i went down on a tube, it didn't hurt as much, but it still hurt!! after that, i just watched and took pictures!! it was pretty cool, because there were some people from the newspaper taking pictures and movies of us and interviewing us!! it was fun to watch, and mr. o scared everyone, because one of the last times he went down, he flipped and landed on his head. that was his last run of the day!! lol!! oh, and john and eric, i think i posted before you did!! :P

sledding

yester day afternoon we went sledding with some people from our church!! it was a lot of fun!! i'm going to put some videos that kevin took once he gets them onto his youtube. it was a lot of fun!! we have a big hill near our house and it's a lot of fun in the winter!! one time, i went off the jump thing and i got huge air!! it was awesome, but it hurt a lot when i landed!! i'll put that video one when kevin gets it up! anyways, it was a lot of fun, and we're going sledding again with some of our friends tomorrow!!

Deep Freeze

This weekend (Feb. 9-11), our youth group went to Camp Berea for a youth retreat called Deep Freeze!! It was awesome!! We had so much fun!! We went Friday night, and camp home about an hour ago! It was so much fun!! I'm running on about 5 1/2 hours of sleep right now, so bear with me!! Yesterday, I was running on about 4 1/2 hours of sleep!! I had so much fun, it was awesome, and everyone should go to Camp, because it rocks!! The speaker was Dwight Knight, and the band was 7 miles. Dwight was an amazing speaker! He is awesome! The band was called 7 miles. They were great, too!! The music was pretty loud, but not quite as loud as DecembeRadio!! I took a lot of movies of them, and I took a lot of pictures in general! The weekend was absolutely awesome, with a lot of stories to tell, and a couple, lets just say, interesting situations!! All in all it was a great weekend!! I love my friends!! REAL LIVE SNOW

WE GOT REALLY REAL LIVE SNOW LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! WWWOOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just incase you couldn't tell, I'm extremely excited!!! I love snow SO much, and this is the first REAL snow we've gotten this winter!! I hope it stays a very long time!! I still haven't been able to make a snow man yet. Probably today, though!! YEA!!!

Last Day of January

HAPPY LAST DAY OF JANUARY!! Wow, that was really random. Oh well!! :D Time just seems to fly by!! it feels like it was New Years Day just yesterday. Soon, it'll be my birthday!! lol! Anyways, hope everyone has an awesome January 31st!!

Happy New Year Everyone!! I hope everyone has an awesome year!! We went to church for a game night 'till around 9:30pm, then we went to the Halls 'till 2:30am!! It was a lot of fun!! The Halls are very nice and fun!! What did everyone else do?
