The Sabers just got their second goal!! YEA!! J.P. Dumont scored the second goal!! The score is now 2-0, Sabers leading!! There was 19 minutes 13 seconds into the 2nd period. GO SABERS!!!!

Right now we are watching the Buffalo Sabers game. They just got a goal!! YEA!! GO SABERS!! Connolly (whatever his first name is!!) scored the goal!! It was an awesome goal!! The puck went right through the goalie's legs!! Well, keep cheering for the Sabers!! I'll post the final results after the game!! GO SABERS!!!

Clash vs. Rockets

Today, the Clash played against the Rockets. We won!!! YEA!! We are STILL undefeated!! YEA!! The score was 2-1. We got the first goal!! It was a very HOT day!! Well, maybe it wasn't THAT hot; all the people on the sidelines were all bundled up like it was the middle of winter, but all the players, thanks to our 100% polyester uniforms, we were all VERY hot!! Anyways, Katelyn scored the first goal closer to the beginning of the first half to the middle. She was about 1 foot away from the end line with the ball and the goalie was right in front of her. She kicked the ball and it went in!! She was at a VERY small angle!! It was an AWESOME goal!! The Rockets got the next goal on a Direct Kick. Fred was in goal, and she was SO CLOSE to catching the ball,but she is really short, so if she had been 1 inch taller, she would have gotten it!! She looked like a professional when she was diving for the ball, but it got over her hands. For our next goal, Dany and Katelyn were passing the ball back and forth towards the goal, and Dany shot, and it went in!! Everyone was in the right possitions!! I shot a couple times, but they never went in. One time, I shot and the ball went over the goal and hit our car!! oopps!! Well, anyways, it was a good game!! We have to play the same team next Saturday, so, GO CLASH!!

Tori (Reuben told me to write it for a Title.)

Hi. Reuben and I are the only ones awake so far. And I don't know what to write about.........yea.........tonight we have Awana, and this afternoon we have piano, just in case anyone wanted to know our schedule for today. I got a 90% on my science test a couple days ago. So many people grow tulips around here. We went for a walk yesterday, and almost every house had tulips or some kind of flower growing in their yard. O.K., alrighty then, I have no idea what to write and Naomi just came downstairs, so I have to go do a math test...bye.

Clash vs. C 2

Last Saturday (April 22), the mighty, mighty Clash played against C 2. We won!! YEA!! The score was 2-1. Dad told us to wait until the end to give them a point, but they got the first point (oopps!!) (It was the other teams first goal of the whole entire season so far!!). We waited until the last two minutes to get the goal that made us win!! Go Shelby, who got the goal!!!! I was a very cold day!! Go Clash!! We are undefeated!!!
P.S. I'm sorry I haven't been posting right after games, I keep on getting side-tracked!! Anyways, GO CLASH!!!

The 5 Browns

I found this really cool family of musicians in a Reader Digest magazine. They are The 5 Browns. Even thought there is no singing, they are really cool!! If you click on this link, it should go to the Audio/Video part of the web site. Go all the way down to the bottom of the page, and find the part that says "Video Bernstein: Scenes from West Side Story** - The 5 Browns" and then watch the movie. If is SO COOL!! They are such tallented musicians!! Also you can listen to some of their music on the web site, too. I hope that you enjoy them, I did!!

Clash vs. Wizards

Last Saturday (April 15), the Clash played agaist the Wizards. We won!! The score was 2-1. It was a very warm day, and our uniforms made it seem even hotter!! I had to wrap my leg, and it felt weird, but my leg didn't hurt!! I got a foul. My Dad called me a hack. I don't think that the other team liked playing against me, because I was leaning into them. Hey, they had the ball, I wanted it, and they were in my way!! I didn't mean to get a foul, though. Ashlee got the first goal!! YEA!! GO ASHLEE!! It was fun, though. I love playing soccer!! All the goals were scored in the first half; and we spent most of the second half on their side of the field. So...anyways...GO CLASH!! We have 2 wins, 0 losses, and 0 ties. We hope to keep that goose egg in the losses!! Root for us!!

Sore Leg

Hey! Yesterday, while I was fooling around with Reuben on the soccer field before practice, I some how pulled a mussel in my right leg. I think I might have either fallen wrong, or kicked the ball wrong some how. I couldn't practice, because Dad told me not to hurt it anymore, and I might not be able to practice Thursday, either, because I want to play on Saturday. Right now, I have ice on it, and I've been putting arnica on it, too. Yesterday, it hurt when I walked, or did anything with my leg, but today, thankfully, it only hurts when I tense it. So...if everyone could pray that my leg gets better, and that there's nothing really wrong, that would be great!! Thanks!!

Very First Game of the Spring '06 Clash Soccer Season (Clash vs. Scorpians)

Yesterday, the Clash played their very first game of this season!!! YEA!!!! I missed soccer!! We played against the Scorpians. We won 11-3. I got three of the 11 goals!! YEA!! My goal for this season is to get 10 goals total. I think that we were leading 5-1 in the first half (they scored at the very end of the first half). I got one goal in the first half. I kicked the ball at the goal at about the force of a pass, not too hard and not too light, at the goalie. The goalie (or keeper, whatever you want to call the person who gaurds the goal) had the ball coming right towards her, she put her arms down to catch the ball, but the ball went right through her legs into the goal!! I was center defence for most of the first half. I was center d for about half of the second half, and then I was right offense for the second half of the second half. It was very cold and a little windy. All in all, it was a fun game!! We have 4 new players in our team this season, and 2 players from last season are not playing this season.

Deep Freeze

Yes, I know I haven't posted in almost a month, but, I've been busy!! O.K., well last weekend, my youth group and I went to Camp Berea for a youth retreat called Deep Freeze. IT WAS AWESOME!! Camp Berea is awesome. period. Anyways, there was an awesome speaker; his name was Dave Hor-something-or-other, and he talked about deceptions, and he did a bunch of cool tricks!! The band was DecembeRadio, and man, were they LOUD!!!! Let me say it again- THEY WERE LOUD!!! The sound people must have had the sound cranked WAY UP, because I have NO idea how my ear drums survived last weekend!! All in all, it was awesome!! Oh yea, and there was ice on the lake, but no snow, so we couldn't go tubing!! And it started snowing just when we were leaving!! Oh, and also, two of the boys said that they had accepted Christ as their Savior, and two of the girls rededicated their lives to Christ, so if everyone could pray for them, that would be great!! Thanks!!
